We will walk you through the process and assist you in bringing your vision to fruition according to your taste and preferences to create highly distinctive furniture, from cupboards and desks to dining tables and chairs to more artistic consoles and other imaginative designs.
It all starts with an idea and we are here to help you realize it by following a clear procedure. We are eager to listen to you, learn about your preferences, your plans, and your requirements.
To begin, fill out our free consultation form or send us an email containing information about your idea. This could include written descriptions, drawings, images of inspiration, or anything else that you think is necessary for us to comprehend your needs.
We will then quickly contact you with a customized solution and a preliminary quote.
Free start
After settling on the main features of your design, we will talk with about the aesthetics, materials, and practicalities of your project. We can communicate via video conference, or we can meet in your home or our workshop, whichever is preferable. We will go over the type, style, finishes, wood, form, and its purpose. Our experience will then be applied to create a 3D model and renderings of your vision. This will give you a digital version of your design with all of your choices and specifications before the manufacturing stage.
The design process
Upon your approval of the design and all its components, the construction of your furniture will begin in our workshop in Copenhagen, Denmark. The wood is handpicked for each item and is cut, planed, and shaped through both manual labor and machines. Joinery and assembly are done using durable solutions specially decided for each project. After that, the surface is sanded and finishes are applied by hand to ensure the longevity and quality of the furniture.
We'd love to have you visit us while your furniture is being made. Please inform us so we can arrange for you to come in at the best time to observe its creation. We'll also send you pictures of the progress as it is being made, allowing you to watch it come to life.
The manufacturing process
Alexandre Aréthuse ensures that each piece of furniture is manufactured with precision and a final inspection is performed before the items are shipped. We will verify that the delivery solution you choose is completed with the utmost care.
A document will be provided to explain how to maintain your piece. Should you have any additional questions or require advice, we are happy to help even years after completion.
